$200/$400 CAP PLO Tables Crushed

Recounting money

It was a rampage on the volatile high action Pot Limit Omaha tables on Full Tilt yesterday as Ronny “ronny37617″ Kaiser smashed the tables for $329,588 between them.

Kaiser rolled in the biggest win as the PLO tables were full of action in an evening grind that lasted in the region of four and a half hours. He won a total of $183,129 to also end up as the day’s overall biggest winner after what was 370 hands in 5 sessions.

In the midst of a great performance from Kaiser it was pleasantly surprising to see a rare appearance from British player Sam “S3 TRX” Trickett. He’s been a tournament and cash game specialist building up a reputation for being one of the most talented players on the live circuit. Trickett finished up the day as the third highest Pot Limit Omaha winner and fourth biggest cash in all games. On top of this, the tables were no push over as Patrik “FinddaGrind” Antonius, Ben “Bttech86″ Tollerene, and Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond were three of the regulars in the action joined by a host of other big names.

Another notable performance came from Gus Hansen as he took $179,768 from his Omaha play. He mixed it up a little with $60,584 coming from Pot Limit Omaha plus more came from the $2,000/$4,000 Fixed Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Split 8-or-Better games where he squeezed $113,942 out of “SallyWoo” making him by far the highest High/Low winner for the day with Phil Ivey coming second earning only a $9,999 profit.

We also saw the continuation of the Doug “WCG|Rider” Polk versus Ben “sauce1234″ Sulsky 15,000 hand No Limit Hold’em Heads-Up Challenge. It was the sixth instalment of this epic battle with Polk coming in at the start of today with a $591,000 lead. He started by losing a third of it during the first 900 hands, nevertheless Polk fought back to end the day only a slight winner now leaving him $596,000 up between the two.

Just 1,500 hands to go and the match will be settled. Sulsky will need to pull off some real solid plays if he is to recover, but in all honesty the last few hands will be more about damage control rather than going for an all-out win.
