$244k Banked For Ivey On A Good Day At The Tables

EV24_Day 03_Final TablePhil “Polarizing” Ivey will be the first to admit that his comeback to the online high stakes tables has hardly set the world alight this time around. The truth is he has struggled to find the form online that he once had, yet yesterday we saw a brief glimpse of the old Phil Ivey as he banked a healthy $244k.

His win was the result of some good action across all of the Fixed Limit Omaha Hi/Lo, Pot Limit Omaha and No Limit Holdem tables. This profit allowed him to sit at the top of the highest profit rankings over the last couple of days, which is the first time in a while that he has managed to do so.

He started out by taking $17k from “KPR16” when playing at the Fixed Limit Omaha Hi/Lo tables before moving across to the $500/$1000 No Limit Holdem tables and taking another $19k when up against “Niklas Reinecker”. The action then quietened down on the tables for a good few hours forcing Ivey to leave for a while.

We then saw Viktor “Isildur1” Blom rear his head at the tables that was then joined quickly by Ivey. Blom broke away from a current session he was already playing against “SanIker” at the No Limit Holdem tables in which he had already lost a large amount of $211k in order to play the infamous Ivey. They started a $500/$1000 Pot Limit Omaha table with Blom coming out of the match-up second best.

Ivey won around $90k from the Swede before again quitting while he was ahead. He then left for another few hours before returning for some more action against “KPR16” at the Fixed Limit Omaha Hi/Lo tables. This time he took home profits of $161k which propelled him to a total profit of $211k for the period.

“SanIker” actually finished as the second highest profit maker due to his win against “Isildur1”, whilst the next highest came from PokerStars as “Trueteller” banked another $137.9k. The player who was the next highest was “Kanu7” after he recorded a good profit of $80.9k after having a short break away from the tables in recent times.

The Periods Largest Profits

Polarizing – (+$244.1k)

SanIker – (+$211.4k)

Trueteller – (+$137.9k)

Kanu7 – (+$80.9k)

We are not expecting too much action at the tables this weekend due to the Easter holidays, though if there is any we will be sure to let you know. Just come back and check to see if we have provided any reports, if not it will be because there was literally nothing to report about.
