Aussie Millions High Stake Cash Game Ep 1 & 2

Aussie Millions table

The Aussie Millions took place earlier in the year and whilst we all know the big winners from the tournament events, we have not until now been able to know who came away as big winners from the Aussie Millions High Stakes Cash Game.

All month the Aussie Millions has been releasing the footage of the action and we here to help spread the word by sharing that action with you all. We will start with two episodes today and bring you the final three tomorrow, simply because each episode is about 45 minutes long.

This cash game was exclusively open to only some of the top players in the world as well as a few rich recreational players and required them to buy in with $250k. Those players were Patrick Antonius, Phil Ivey, Doug Polk, Paul Newey, Lo Shing Fung, Max Altergott, Richard Yong and PokerStars Team Pro Isaac Haxton.

Many of these players are well known to take part in the highest stakes cash games all over the world and a selection of these players even took part in the $1 million buy-in World Series of Poker Big One For One Drop not too long ago.

They play with blinds of $1,000/$2,000 and there is some serious money being thrown around on the table. There are many pots worth hundreds of thousands, which you can just imagine the sort of pressure that they bring.

The first episode shows how the game gets started and there is even the bonus of a quick interview with PokerStars Team Pro Liv Boeree whilst she enjoys pampering herself at the Crown Hotel Spa.

The second episode carries on from where the first left off with many more huge pots being contested. It lasts another 45 minutes and sees plenty of action between some of the highest stakes players in the world.

We will bring you the remaining three episodes of the Aussie Millions High Stakes Cash Game tomorrow, so make sure you come back and check in with us. We are pretty sure that the action will be just as juicy as it has been so far in the first two episodes above.
