Ben “Bttech66” Tollerene Scoops $284k At High Stakes

shutterstock_129322478The high stakes action just keeps on coming this year, with its popularity returning to the way it was just a couple of years ago across both of the biggest online poker sites PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. The last couple of days have been no different with the biggest winner throughout this period being Ben “Bttech86” Tollerene.

He took down $264k profit after playing at the $400/$800 Pot Limit Omaha tables at Full Tilt Poker when playing up against names such as “patpatpanda”, Ben “Sauce1234” Sulsky and “Ingenious89”. The former of the three was by far his biggest victim though, sending “patpatpanda” down as one of the biggest losers during this period.

This winning session also brought him some big pots too, with his biggest being a pot of $125.4k after flopping a flush and trapping his opponent “patpatpanda” into betting into him. His next big pot was for $103.4k against the same opponent, when the betting ran all of the way until the river before his opponent folded.

Other winners during this period included the in-form “PostFlopAction” who brought home an extra $144.7k to add to the profits he has made this week. This has stretched him out in the profit lead for 2013 even more and seems unstoppable at the moment.

We also saw “Kagome Kagome” winning at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables to the tune of $113.2k with those winnings coming in the main from “Alexonmoon”. “cottonseed1” also had a good day, especially considering his opponents were Phil “Polarizing” Ivey and “patpatpanda” on the Fixed Limit Omaha tables, with him banking a good $122.4k profit.

“patpatpanda” as we already mentioned was the period’s biggest loser, with him now losing more than $1.2 million in just two days at the virtual felt, most of it going into the pockets of “PostFlopAction”.

The mysterious player from Macau surely has deep pockets though as he always comes back for more, however how long can he go on losing this sort of money on a regular basis? We would love to someday know the name behind the screen name. That though, could possibly never ever happen.

The Largest Profits!

Bttech86 – ($283.6k)

PostFlopAction – ($144.7k)

cottonseed1 – ($122.4k)

Kagome Kagome – ($113.2k)

With the high stakes action being at its best of late, we are already waiting in anticipation to see who the next player to take down huge amounts of money will be. Check with us and we will keep you regularly posted.
