“Ben86″ smashes “wilhasha” for $200k

Mouse on cards

It was a great day on the online poker tables with the high stake action bringing around an epic heads up battle between Swedish pro “wilhasha” and Ben “Ben86” Tollerene AKA known as Ben “Bttech86” Tollerene on the Full Tilt tables.

The scene was set on the PokerStars $200/$400 No Limit Hold’em Heads-Up tables starting at 11pm and running the course of 3 hours into the early hours of the next morning. The pair were grinding over 3 tables with Tollerene starting the face-off by quickly going behind. However, it didn’t take long before he was in the driving seat and pulling away with a 6 figure lead, just brushing through the half mark of the match.

The action continued and “wilhasha” suddenly kicked into gear and started to put Tollerene on the back foot and soon it was all square once again within just half an hour. Once again Tollerene started to dominate and pull back his original 6 figure and surpass that figure by levelling off at $205,900 thanks to Tollerene picking up the largest pot in the game.

It was unfortunate for “wilhasha” as he caught a flush with a Jack high card to look pretty secure to take the pot with only a suited Queen, King or Ace able to beat him, making only three possibilities out there. It was bad news though as Tollerene had also pulled a flush out of the bag and it was one better than his opponent holding the Queen high. With that, the $176,000 pot went all the way over to Tollerene’s side of the table.

In the end Tollerene turned out the biggest winner recording $268,000 well above second place Isaac “luvtheWNBA” Haxton, who won the only other 6 figure profit of the day earning himself $196,375. There were not many too impressive profits to mention after the second place profit with third, fourth and fifth places barely reporting a profit outside of the $30k zone, but an amount most average people would consider almost life changing.

Over on the Full Tilt cash tables in the Ike “luvtheWNBA” Haxton corner there was another classic showdown against another Swede and it was the Swede that once again came out of the battle worse off. It was that man Viktor “Isildur1” Blom taking yet another blow to this month’s impressive profits. Surprisingly the limits were higher than the “wilhasha” versus “Ben86” match over the PokerStars tables, but the win for Haxton a lot less.

Both players showed down on the $500/$1000 CAP No Limit Hold’em Heads-Up tables very early in the morning hours. Blom went up $200k, but the PokerStars pro Haxton turned it around to end the match a $196,400 winner.
