Caprioli Reaches 5 Million PokerStars VPP’s

Rodrigo “capriole” Caprioli is the first to admit that he is certainly not one of the best poker players in the world, but he is certainly one of the hardest working. When it comes to PokerStars, that statement cannot be ignored and is in fact backed up by the fact that he has now just achieved lifetime earnings of 5 million VPP’s at the site.

The Brazilian player who is still only 31 is at the EPT in Prague, which is where he was given a lifetime achievement award in the form of a certificate in recognition of his achievement at PokerStars. He was awarded the certificate from the EPT tournament director Teresa Nousianen whilst he was also given a luxurious TAG watch and was roundly applauded by all of his fellow peers that were there to witness the ceremony.

How He Achieved The VPP’s!

During the first year that he decided to play professionally on the site, he played so much that he earned 2 million VPP’s, he did this by mainly playing in SNG’s which are widely known to offer the best return with regards to VPP’s earned for the time spent playing.

He would play up to 12 of them at the same time, for a period of around six hours each day. His game of choice was Pot Limit Omaha, though he would also take in a few Texas Holdem SNG’s if he felt like a bit of a change up.

Ever since, those VPP’s have continued to total up. He uses the VPP’s very wisely too, by buying packages and buy-ins to some of the very biggest events around the globe. He has then gone on to make some significant scores; all from the VPP’s that he has spent so much time earning.

Just April this year he used his VPP’s to get a ticket into the EPT Monte Carlo, and managed to earn €315,000 by finishing in fifth place. His VPP’s have also allowed him to travel all across Europe to locations such as London, San Remo and the glorious city of Barcelona.

He believes taking advantage of these packages is far better than trading them in for some of the luxurious gifts from the gift store, as he gets good value for money at winning even more money.

It just goes to show that hard work certainly does pay off in any profession that you choose. Even if you are not the best at what you do, hard work can get you to where you want to be. We would like to offer him our congratulations at achieving a feat that is certainly not an easy one to do.
