The European Poker Tour is in full swing with the EPT Barcelona Main Event and the Super Highroller Tournament underway. Some players try to make a name for themselves in this beautiful Spanish city, others were celebrating at Opium Club, where the awards were handed to the most successful players of season nine. Daniel Negreanu is also in town having a great time, alongside other worldwide famous poker pros such as Liv Boeree and they’re having fun together.
And this is how it all started last night… http://t.co/VQTZ6ZUUVs

Poker players know how to combine work with entertainment and they seem to be having a blast in Barcelona. Jason Mercier and “Kid Poker” had some fun in a local club, but it is only a matter of time until they will compete again in a major EPT tournament:
Pokerstars party last night with @RealKidPoker … Can’t believe people still call this guy “kid poker” http://t.co/1GDjco4aBR

To say that Daniel doesn’t show his age would be the understatement of the week, and this picture of him and fellow poker players posted on Twitter brilliantly captures the essence of what happens away from the poker tables:
@RealKidPoker epic night out guys! @TeamSkypePro #barcelona #opium pic.twitter.com/1JecDkFfbi

Not all players have the stamina to combine fast paced poker action with the challenges of a night out in a Barcelona club:
I am the worst at beating jet lag. Took a "nap" at 8 pm & just woke up at almost 3 am. Missed the @pokerstars party. Annoyed.

Jason Lavallee didn’t forget why he traveled to Barcelona in the first place, but after being sent to the rail he found solace in having some drinks at the PokerStars party:
Busted an hour agoish, moving to Arts then going to punish pokerstars at the openbar party #500kinrake
— Jason Lavallee (@constantcolorup) August 31, 2013
He certainly pushed himself to the limit following his untimely elimination from the Main event and at the end of the day there were no regrets for Jason:
Pokerstars party is not ready for this, #queuethemesong

Matthias De Meulder knows exactly what Jason went through after busting from the highroller event and join his fellow poker player for a couple of drinks:
Booooo busted the estrellas high roller. Atleast I get to go to the @PokerStars party now
— Matthias De Meulder (@mattionfire) August 31, 2013
Nothing shouts party louder than an open bar, at least if we are to believe Fred Wise who shed his enthusiasm for the PokerStars party on Twitter:
Pokerstars players party looks sickkk. Can never say no to an open bar!
