You may remember back in December at the European Poker Tour Prague, PokerStars Team SportStar Rafa Nadal claimed his very first poker tournament since being represented by the site back in 2012.
It might have only been a charity event but when you consider he had the current best poker player in the world in PokerStars Team Pro Daniel Negreanu sitting at his table, the achievement has to be noted.
He also had PokerStars SportStars Ronaldo and Fatima Moreira de Melo at his table whilst world renowned footballer Andrei Shevchenko and famous skier Alberto Tomba made up the remaining numbers.
Well just before they all played Nadal took in some last minute advice from his coach Alfonso, which you can see in the video below. He wanted the usually aggressive player to tone it down and just play tight. Also in the video is a small press conference that the players held before the tournament in which Nadal claimed he was starting to get nervous whilst Negreanu stated that he should be winning the event.
As the event turned out he won after defeating Moreira de Melo heads up to claim the win, meaning his coaches advice must have worked wonders.
