Jake Cody announces Christmas competition

Jake Cody at the PCA

Team PokerStars Pro Jake Cody has returned home to Leeds for the UKIPT and a poker session with fellow members, that apparently was a lot of fun. Poker-wise, things didn’t exactly go according to the plan as he busted from the Main Event, but Jake plans on participating in the UKIPT Nottingham which starts on November 27th.

Those who went over his blog know that Jake is trying to adjust to the time zone after spending the last couple of months on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. Meanwhile, Cody is anxiously waiting for Christmas, particularly the German Christmas Market held in Leeds each year. To get in the mood for the winter holidays and to give something back to his fans and followers, Cody announced the “Christmas Jumper” competition:

Last year, he wore a Christmas jumper at the EPT Prague and results exceeded expectations, so in 2013 Jake plans in sharing the good fortune with others. The rules are simple, with those interested expected to send the best pictures of themselves wearing their cool Christmas costumes. Jake will pick the best three pictures and each of the winners will receive 2% of anything he wins in the European Poker Tour Prague.

Those who enter the race should have a PokerStars account, to play from a country where online poker is allowed and of course, to be of legal age. To enter the competition, one could follow Jake on Twitter, Like his Facebook page or send the picture via Instagram. The competition started on November 18th and concludes on December 1st, with the winners to be announced three days later. The winners’ accounts will be credited with the corresponding sums immediately after EPT Prague ends.
