Josephy Wins WSOP Event #9 Whilst Event #13 Kicks Off
The ninth event at the World Series Of Poker was confined to the history books earlier today as Cliff Josephy became the latest proud owner of a bracelet, though it actually his second one to date. The $3k NLHE Shootout event always proves to be a popular format and this one was certainly no different.
He had to come out on top of the final table of ten in the event after successfully winning a previous two tables to find himself there.
He not only took home a prestigious WSOP gold bracelet but also the first place prize of $299,486 after beating a final table that included the likes of Evan Silverstein, David Baker and Chris Klodnicki.

Event #13 Day 1 Sees Woodward leading Remaining 130
Another day, another event or two starts up at the 2013 World Series Of Poker. This time it was Event #13 that brought in a field of 191 players looking to take part in a $5k Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo tournament.

By the time the day had finished it was Matt Woodward who held the chip lead, but in an extremely close top ten he has players like Gavin Smith, David Bach, Kevin Vo and Yuval Bronshtein right on his tail.
