Last Chance To File for Full Tilt Money

Today marks the last day for US-based Full Tilt Poker players to put in a claim for their account balances from when the site was formerly shut down under their previous owners back in 2011.

Any applications filed after today the 3rd of September, will not be accepted by the Garden City Group, meaning this is the last chance for those with to claim their funds that were locked up on the site.

The most recent post on the Full Tilt Claims Administration website read:

“Please note that the final deadline for all petitioners – including Affiliates and Pros – to file a Petition for Remission is September 3, 2014. If you previously received an email Notice, please be sure to use the logon credentials provided in the Notice when you begin the Petition process.

Please be advised that after September 3, the filing portion of this website will no longer be available and Petitions will no longer be accepted. If you have any questions concerning your Petition or how to file, please contact us.”

The majority of claims by US based players have already been dealt with, resulting in more than $110 million being reimbursed so far. Players were first able to put in their claims back in February of this year and whilst most have received their funds, there are still some that have not come forward as of yet.

Those that have disputed the amounts owed will have to await further clarification on their cases whilst those that have been classified as professional players will be the last to be dealt with later on this year.

So for those of you that have yet to put in a claim, it is highly advised that you do so today or forever forfeit what is owed to you. This can be done by simply heading over to www.fulltiltpokerclaims.com and providing all of the information that is requested.

It will be great to see this all put to bed finally. We are now nearing the end of the whole reimbursement phase in America, more than a year after the rest of the world had their amounts reimbursed following the Rational Group, which also owns PokerStars, purchasing Full Tilt Poker and making a promise to reimburse all players that lost access to the money they had on the site under the former ownership.
