The UKIPT London Main Event has been going on for a couple of days and many well-known players are at the tables. One of them is Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree who likes tweeting about various activities, including of course poker.
At the Grand Connaught rooms playing @UKIPT London. Big field as ever! Who’s here?

Now that the tournament is hosted by the Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, Liv has a home pitch advantage, hence a good chance of emerging victorious. Boeree started on the right foot and amassed a total of 50,000 chips before the dinner break, an achievement worth sharing with her fans on Twitter:
Off to a good start – 50k on dinner break @UKIPT

The buy-in for the main event is a massive £5,000 + £250 but professional poker players don’t mind spending so much money, because they can contemplate their return on investment. Meanwhile, there is no reason for not having a bit of fun in the process and apparently one poker player decided to put his newfound chips to good use.
Look at this guy’s chipstack!! A true architect. pic.twitter.com/ayOoVjRCGk

Liv was certainly impressed by this poker player’s passion for architecture and took a picture of his recent creation to share with her followers. Meanwhile, this opponent increased his chip stack and also explored new creations, turning the awkward structure into a humanoid made entirely of chips
Now the chipstack is a person. Why wouldn’t it be. pic.twitter.com/HbLYJBC91C

Everything is fun and games at the UKIPT but this doesn’t mean that players don’t take the event seriously, especially with 747 players to compete against. Compared to last season, this edition of the PokerStars European Poker Tour London Poker Festival had 100 more players and Liv is doing just fine with 223 players remaining.
