For those of you that are looking to build a bankroll down in the lower stakes, there is no better way than taking in some of the events in the Mini Full Tilt Online Poker Series (MiniFTOPS) that starts today.

Not too long after the FTOPS played out last month, the FTOPS younger brother the MiniFTOPS is kicking off its two week long online poker festival that will see a total of 31 events take place. Those events will include practically every variation and format throughout the next fortnight and culminate in the Main Event which takes place on the 21st of September. That Main Event will have a prize pool guarantee of $500k and all for a buy-in of just $75.

That is the highest buy-in you will see throughout the MiniFTOPS however, so if it is a little too much for you, you will be happy to learn that the buy-ins for the events range from as low as $5.50. Additionally, you could even win seats for even less by taking part in the many satellite tournaments that are offering the winners seats into a selection of the events.

As for the formats on offer, they have practically everything covered from standard freezeout events, re-entry, knockouts and multi-entry. You will also find all of the popular variations in the game from Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Stud, Razz and plenty of the mixed game variants too.

The idea of the MiniFTOPS is to allow players with smaller bankrolls the enjoyable experience of a large online poker tournament series. It allows them to gain experience of playing in tournaments of this size without having to risk too much financially. On top of that, a good result could massively increase their bankroll to such a size that would allow them to compete on a much higher stage in the future.

So if you are one of those that are looking for that kind of experience, then the Full Tilt Mini FTOPS is just the place you would have been looking for. You get low buy-ins, big fields, loads of fun and the possibility of some big money thrown in too. What do you have to lose other than a few small bucks?

You can get further details on each of the events during the MiniFTOPS and a full schedule of each of them by heading over here.
