Moorman Takes Off with Interactive Website

Chris Moorman in WSOP

British poker player Chris Moorman has been going from strength to strength with what has been an impressive poker career so far, and to promote that success he’s just announced that he’ll also be expanding his part in poker via an online presence.

Moorman is currently just shy $30,000 before he’ll be hitting the $10 million mark in tournament poker earnings. Most of that has come from his online poker exploits, but he’s also quite the live tournament player to. He’s managed to pull together $ 2,962,569 playing in some of the world’s biggest major tournaments. Although he’s only won in one major event, which was the European Poker Tour’s Madrid €2,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em 8 Max Bounty tournament, he’s still managed to pull in some big bucks on the love scene. Soon after his EPT win, he came second in the €10,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em 8 Max Re-Entry tournament in the EPT Berlin winning $ 189,824.

His largest win came from an impressive run in the 2011 European World Series of Poker €10,000 Main Event, where he came second to pull in $1,068,690.

To reach the $10 million mark he probably just needs 1 or 2 more tournaments to get there, which he’ll probably be celebrating either by the end of the month or sometime in October.

Just recently however, he’s been putting his milestone target to one side while he gets the new interactive poker site up and running. This gives Moorman more of a chance to allow his fans to get to know the inner him a bit more, by letting them take sneak previews of life on the other side of poker for one of Britain’s latest and greatest poker superstars.

Also of course, he can share poker tips and hand discussions more openly using the sites interactive features. Every week Chris will personally be writing and posting blogs, plus he’ll be posting some of his latest hands on video. Fans will also be able to view other video clips and photos of what goes on in around the poker rooms, casinos and possibly some personal life clips will be up there to.

We can also track Chris as he goes for the number one spot as the best rated PocketFives player again to which he hopes to achieve by the end of the year. Two big targets for Chris lay ahead of Chris this year and we will be following him like a hawk and cheering him on. Great to see yet another British poker player making a name on the scene.
