Negreanu To Chair Charity Poker Tournament

The word charity

There have been many instances throughout the last year of top poker professionals doing their part for charity and now PokerStars Team Pro Daniel Negreanu is once again involved in a charity poker tournament.

He will be hosting a poker tournament that will help to raise money and awareness for the work that the St. Judes Children Hospital does across America.

As you can see from the tweets of Negreanu, there are going to be some magnificent prizes up for grabs including a Corvette Stingray, for those that attend.

The charity poker tournament will be held on the 8th of November in Las Vegas at Vdara and will require an admission fee of at least $1,000. This admission fee will allow for one seat in the tournament and an additional guest who can attend but not play.

Once there, players can then upgrade their tickets to as much as $10,000, which will allow them to play for higher value prizes. More information on these prizes can be found by heading over here, though a few examples of what can be won are a poker coaching session with Negreanu, 5 nights in Fiji, a cruise and of course that Stingray worth $60k.

Phil Hellmuth and Antonio Esfandiari are also honorees of the event that promises great entertainment, food and drinks and of course the ability for people to play poker against some of the games greats.

St. Judes

St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital is known worldwide for the excellent work that they do at striving to find cures and save the life of children. They are one of the world’s leaders when it comes to both the research and treatment of childhood diseases and they never refuse admission of any child for any reasons.

As with any charitable organisation, they need help to continue to be able to do what they do. This is what this charity poker tournament is all about, helping St. Judes to raise money that will eventually go on to help many more children.

If you are in the area, we strongly ask you to consider attending.
