PokerStars Brings us Spin & Go Tournaments

Spin & Go Tournaments

Following on from the implementation and success of Jackpot SNG’s over at sister site Full Tilt, PokerStars have now brought their very own variation called “Spin & Go Tournaments”.

Players will now be able to get their hands on prize pools of between $3,000 and $36,000 from minuscule buy-ins of between $1 and $30 respectively. Can you imagine winning $30,000 from an outlay of just $30 and at odds of 3-1 when you consider you only have to beat two players?

Additionally, from just $1 you could earn yourself $2,400… absolute madness! We doubt that anyone will be complaining though, we certainly won’t be!

That is some significant value there for SNG lovers and something that we are sure is once again going to prove immensely popular over at PokerStars.

How They Work

Spin & Go’s are three player SNG’s that are played via a hyper turbo format with each player starting with just 500 chips. The action is thick and fast and usually over within minutes, which in itself is always fun. The best part though, is that the SNG’s have a random prize pool multiplier at the start that could mean that you could be playing for as much as 3,000 times your original buy-in.

The buy-ins that are available are $1, $3, $7, $15 and $30 so if you and the other two players were to hit the 1,000 multiplier it could mean that you would be playing for the following amounts in the SNG:

$1 = as much as $1,200

$3 = as much as $3,600

$7 = as much as $8,400

$15 = as much $17,800

$30 = as much as $36,000

The random multiplier could give the prize pool x2, x4, x6, x10, x25, x100, x200 and finally x1,000, meaning that you are always getting good value even if you just hit x2.

Once you sign up, you will be sent to a table with the other two players and it is here that the Spin & Go multiplier will spring onto the screen, spin through the numbers and eventually show you all what you will be playing for.

You then just have to go about your business of beating your opponents and taking down the lion’s share of that prize pool.
