PokerStars Protégé Last Longer Competition

The protege by PokerStars

You might remember an article we did back in July about PokerStars running a promotion called ‘The Protégé’ in which the winners would be able to become the protégé of one of the PokerStars Team Pros and take part in three WCOOP events.

The player of the four that earned the most money combined from those three events would then win a package that would see them heading to the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in January.

Well, we now know which players have succeeded and will now have to compete against each other under the mentoring of their Team Pro whilst PokerStars are offering the rest of us the chance to get involved by offering prizes to those that guess which player goes the deepest in each event.

This has been done with their latest #lastlonger promotion which offers tickets into a freeroll tournament for the players that make the right guesses.

You can find out more about each of the protégés by heading here and you can also discover which of Vanessa Selbst, Andre Akkari, Eugene Katchalov and Bertrand Grospellier are mentoring them. Then by using that information you can opt who to vote on who runs the deepest in the following three events.

  • Sept 7th 8am ET – Event #1 No Limit Hold’em Kick-Off
  • Sept 14th 11am ET –Event #22 No Limit Hold’em (Sunday Warm-Up)
  • Sept 28th 2.30pm ET –No Limit Hold’em Main Event

To vote, all you have to do is tweet either #RobLastLonger, #AllanLastLonger, #ArsenyLastLonger or #OlgaLastLonger during the respective timeframes below.

For the first event you can place your vote between midnight on the 4th of September until 07.59am on the 7th. For the second event you have between 8am on the 7th of September and until 10.59am on the 14th. Finally, for the final event you have between 11am on the 14th of September until 2.29pm on the 28th of September.

For those of you that make the correct selection on each occasion, you will win a ticket for a freeroll tournament. The three free roll tournaments will take place on the 10th of September, 17th September and 1st of October, giving you the chance to win some good money for making the right predictions.

Just remember that each of these players have undergone expert tuition from their selected PokerStars Team Pro, so perhaps take into account each of those Team Pros playing styles before making your choice.
