Slow Day But “Bttech86” Scores $168k

Earnings/Losses signThere we go again! We predict a busy weekend at the high stakes tables after what was already a busy week and we go and jinx it. The action over the past couple of days was few and far between and there was only one real winner of significance in Ben “Bttech86” Tollerene.

He took home a score of $168.4k after a short session at the $200/$400 CAP Pot Limit Omaha tables against opponents like Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, Ben “Sauce1234” Sulsky, “Gus Hansen”, “no_Ola” and “mikki696”.

That was a tough table but he still came out as the big winner, with there only being one other winner to survive that table in “mikki696” scooping profits of $74.8k. That was enough to have him in fourth place overall for this period.

The player who secured second spot on the profit rankings for the day was “wilhasha” after he spent the period playing large amounts of heads up No Limit Hold’em on PokerStars. He banked $96.6k on the $100/$200 heads up tables and took the majority of his winnings from “Lottenice”.

He took home just a little more than “cottonseed1” who finished up with $86.2k profit for the period. “cottonseed1” only had a short session, but it was all he needed to take his winnings from “Gus Hansen” at the Fixed limit Omaha Hi/Lo tables. He could have actually walked away with profits of $150k but Hansen did manage to claw some of his losses back.

With regards to Hansen, it was looking like another really bad day at one point after he dropped $250k to “KPR16” before pulling it all back and actually taking home $37k on top. All being told he actually finished the day with profits of $17k.

There were no other winners of note during this period, with many of the bigger names staying away for some reason.

The Largest Profits!

Ben “Bttech86” Tollerene – (+$168.4k)

“wilhasha” – (+$96.9k)

“cottonseed1” – (+$86.2k)

“mikki696” – (+$74.8k)

With the weekend now over, perhaps the action will kick into life again on both PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, though many players maybe getting ready for the World Series Of Poker which is creeping ever closer at the end of this month.

We will keep you updated on the high stakes action whether it is busy or not, so make sure you keep coming back to check in with us. Until next time… Good Luck!
