Tollerene Wins Second $500k In Two Days
The high octane action we have seen throughout the week has continued during this latest period, with most of the biggest action yet again coming from the CAP Pot Limit Omaha tables. The man who topped the profit list was that man again Ben “Bttech86” Tollerene after he notched up his another $554.8k to make it more than a million profit in two days.
Initially, the players started out on the $200/$400 tables but decided to move on up to the $500/$1,000 tables after a two and a half hour stint.
The players involved in this session included “Bttech86”, “Gus Hansen”, Hac “trex313” Dang, Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond, “psychobenny”, “mikki696” and “ronnyr37617”, whilst this session brought us the periods two biggest winners in Tollerene and “trex313”. The latter took home profits of $377.9k to mark a good week for him whilst we already know “Bttech86” experienced an even better one.
On the flip side of things “Gus Hansen” again undid a lot of the hard work he had done during the week with losses of $630k in these sessions. Those losses are huge but things were looking even worse for a little while.
He actually stood with losses totalling $1 million after a session at the 2-7 Triple Draw and Fixed Limit Omaha Hi/Lo tables. Fortunately for him he managed bring those losses down by half to $466k after taking in some more Fixed Limit Omaha Hi/Lo action against “cottonseed1”. Hansen actually played solidly for more than 24 hours in this session, which is an achievement on its own.
The next player on the profit list for the day was Viktor “Isildur1” Blom after he took down profits of $368.5k despite being down 1/4 of a million at one point. He achieved his winnings at the Fixed Limit Omaha Hi/Lo tables against the likes of Patrik “FinddaGrind” Antonius, Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond and “KPR16”.
The only big winner to come from PokerStars yesterday was Jens “Jeans89” Kyllonen as he banked $196k at the $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha tables. He was playing against Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky, Ben “Ben86” Tollerene, “Odd_Oddsen”and “FaKeOrReaL”.
Other winners on the day included “FaKeOrReal” and “Kagome Kagome” who both wrapped up profits of more than $100k apiece across both poker sites.
