UKIPT and Estrellas Poker to Launch Marbella Festival

For the first time its history the UK and Ireland Poker Tour will be taking a trip outside of the United Kingdom and Ireland in a Marbella special event.

Southern Europe’s popular holiday destination has never been short of glimmering reviews that write in stories of the beautiful scenery and tropical climate, both qualities attracting British and Irish holiday makers in their thousands all year round. Set deep in the midst of the hot weather and breath-taking scenery is the stunning Marbella casino.

The UKIPT is staging the festival event alongside one of the most popular live event and online event organisations, PokerStars. The event will be the PokerStars Marbella Festival and it should offer all the excitement, big prize-pools, and a mass of tournaments with high and low cash side games as does the Estrellas poker Tour. Both the UKIPT and the Estrellas poker events have taken the poker communities by storm in their respective countries with massive €500k guaranteed prize pools, as well as high stake buy-ins tournaments attracting some of the biggest names in poker.

Here comes the surprise announcement. In steps a PokerStars UKIPT and Estrellas partnership to create and event that will entail the ideas of two of the biggest poker organisers in Europe. The stage is set and the event is looking to be one of the biggest in Europe this year giving the WSOPE a run for its money.
