Day 3 at the UK & Ireland Poker Tour Main Event was full of the usual high octane poker action as the final 30 players in the event were cut down in size to the final table of eight. Once the chips were counted at the end of the day it was revealed that Jamie O’Connor would be the chip leader on that final table with 1,243,000 in his stack.
He leads a tough looking final table that has the likes of PokerStars Team Pro Fatima Moreira de Melo, Duncan McLellan and Christopher Jonat among his competitors for the title.

There were 22 eliminations on the day which included players of the calibre of Sam Razavi, Barry Greenstein and Fabio Esposito. They will have to wait for the next big poker tournament in order to claim another title.
