WPT Announce Schedule For 13th Season

The World Poker Tour yesterday revealed the schedule for the first half of the upcoming XIII season, revealing that there will be 20 tournaments stages across all corners of the globe. The 13^th season is going to see them get past the 200 champions mark with the previous season ending with 193 in total.

They will be looking to better last seasons efforts, though with plenty of new records set in terms of attendances and prize pools, it will be a tough act to follow.

Executive Director of the WPT Matt Savage said in a statement “Coming off a very successful Season XII highlighted by some record-setting numbers and fantastic new locations, the World Poker Tour marches into lucky Season XIII with more new global stops and many of the great tournaments that have made the WPT the most player-friendly tour in poker.”

The first half of the World Poker Tour will be starting off on the 5^th of June with the WPT National in Italy and finishing on the 15^th of December with the WPT Five Diamond Classic. Have a look at the full schedule below.

Jun 5^th – WPT National Campione – €900 + €90 = €990

Jul 3^rd – WPT National London – £200

Jul 4^th – WPT500 – $500 + $65 = $565

Jul 15^th – WPT National Valencia – €1,350 + €150 = €1,500

Jul 17^th – WPT National Valencia – €500 + €50 = €550

Jul 18^th – WPT National Brussels – €675 + €75 = €750

Aug 22^nd – WPT Western Poker Challenge – $1000 + $80 = $1,080

Aug 23^rd – WPT Legends of Poker – $3,500 + $200 = $3,700

Sep 5^th – WPT Merit Classic North Cyprus – $4,000 + $400 = $4,400

Sep 14^th – WPT Borgata Poker Open – $3,300 + $200 = $3,500

Oct 9^th – WPT National Marrakech – 13,500 MAD

Oct 28^th – WPT National China  – $1,600 + $160 = $1,760

Oct 31^st – WPT National Brussels – €675 + €75 = €750

Nov 7^th – WPT Poker Scramble – $4,650 + $350 = $5,000

Nov 13^th – WPT Emperors Palace Poker Classic – $3,300 + $300 = $3,600

Nov 18^th – WPT UK – £3,000

Nov 20^th – WPT Montreal – $3,500 + $350 = $3,850

Dec 4^th – WPT National Paris – €1,200

Dec 15^th – WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic – $10,000 + $300 = $10,300
