WPT Fallsview Poker Classic Day2 – James Leads Final Ten

Stack of chips

Day 2 at the World Poker Tour Fallsview Poker Classic came to an end just a few hours ago with the 114 players that returned to the felt attempting to get through another ten levels of play. Come the end of those levels there were just ten players remaining who will now be coming back to battle it out on the unofficial final table later tonight.

Leading the field is Jason James on 2,606,000 chips, which is enough to have him more than a million ahead of Dave Graham in second place with 1,556,000.

Others in with a shot at the title include Day 1 chip leader Matthew Lappossie, Dylan Wilkerson and Peter Labib. They will be looking to first make the final table of nine before making a charge up the paying places and hopefully getting in a heads up session for the title.

Among the many eliminations on Day 2 were the likes of Mike Watson, Shaun Cunix, Peter Jetten, Mark Radoja and Mike Leah with each of those players at least managing to cash in the event.

The action will start up again at 12pm ET and will play down until there is just one player left remaining and revealed as the latest World Poker Tour champion of 2014.
