WPT Jacksonville – Day 1 Flights Completed

The World Poker Tour Jacksonville Fall Poker Scramble is heading into Day 2 later today after both the opening day flights were completed over the last two days. After some frantic action it will be Ryan Eriquezzo that holds the chip lead when Day 2 starts after he amassed 275,200 chips on Day 1b.

He leads a top ten that includes the likes of Cong Pham, Jared Jaffee, Jacob Bazeley and Jaquelyn Scott, meaning there are already some notable names playing well so far in the event.

Day 1a brought in 143 registrations whilst Day 1b added to that with another 215 to bring a total of 358 for the event. This left us with a prize pool that totalled $1,145,600 and meant that the top 45 players would come away from this event with a payout of at least $6,329 and possibly as much as $252,749 for the victory.

There were just 46 survivors from Day 1a and 83 from Day 1b leaving a total of 124 left in the event going into Day 2.

Among the 234 players that were sent home from the opening day flights were some notable players in defending champion Noah Schwartz, Marvin Rettenmaier, Andy Frankenberger, Brian Hastings and John Racener.

Join us for a full round up of Day 2 tomorrow when the field will be reduced down even further and see that bubble period get ever nearer.
