WPT Jacksonville Day 3 – Jaffee Leading Final Table

WSOP chips

The World Poker Tour Jacksonville Fall Poker Scramble has reached the serious part of proceedings as Day 3 saw the remaining 26 survivors from Day 2 brought in to be whittled down to just the final table of 6 to be completed later on tonight.

Come the end of the action we had a new chip leader in Jared Jaffee after he dominated proceedings to notch up a chip count of 3,650,000, giving him double that of Margo Costa who is currently in second place.

Day 3 lasted almost 12 hours before we had that final table, as we saw the chip leader at the start of the day in Cong Pham start to hit trouble early on in the day’s action. Before long he had become a short stack and would eventually bow out of the event in 21st place, which is surely not what he was expecting going into the day.

Other big names that fell throughout proceedings included Jacob Bazeley, Jeff Madsen, Matt Glantz and eventually Ryan Eriqueezo who was the last scalp claimed by Jaffee.

The action continues again later tonight and will see who comes out on top as one of the last WPT winners of the year 2013. Catch us tomorrow as we bring you all the busts and bluffs from the final day’s worth of action in Jacksonville.
