We are now past the opening Day flights of the World Poker Tour Montreal after Day 1c was played out last night. There were 339 players that tried one last time to advance into Day 2 but come the end of the day, only 138 of them could manage that achievement.
Leading those 138 is Sylvain Siebert after he accrued a healthy chip count of 230,500 to put himself among the front runners in this event. Other notable names that have done enough to see them through Day 1c and into Day 2 with the other survivors included Shannon Shorr, Gavin Smith, Jason Koon, Dan Heimiller and Noah Schwartz.
Bagged 87,400 in #WPTMontreal average 75k. Day 2 resumes in 12 hours with all players under one roof.

Some players have fired one shot in this event, others two and some have even tried three times to get through, yet on Day 1c there were still plenty of eliminations meaning that players have now run out of chances. Among those eliminations were Andy Frankenberger, Jared Jaffee, Matt Gianetti, Liv Boeree, Ebony Kenney, Marvin Rettenmaier and Faraz Jaka.
