Though the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas has been at the forefront of people’s minds during the last couple of months, the action had actually started back in April when the inaugural WSOP APAC Main Event was played out.
Most of us are all fully aware of the WSOP held in Las Vegas and of course that the WSOP Europe has been running for a good few years now too, but a few of you might have missed the fact that Asia now has its own instalment with the WSOP Asia Pacific.
This series included seven events with six of them offering the winner a WSOP bracelet. There was a $1,100 NLHE Accumulator event, $1,650 PLO event, $2,200 Mixed Game event, $5,000 6-Max Holdem event, the Caesars Cup, $50,000 High Roller and of course the $10,000 Main Event.
Well now, the action from the Main Event final table has been released, allowing anyone that doesn’t yet know the outcome the chance to find out for themselves. In fact, even if you do know who won, it is always nice to see the footage.
There were eight players that made the official final table in Melbourne, Australia, with their seating and chip counts at the start of play being listed just below.
St 1) George Tsatsis – 2,321,000
St 2) Benny Spindler – 2,931,000
St 3) Mikel Habb – 551,000
