WSOP ME Coverage Episodes 5 & 6 (vids)

We might be coming to the end of the World Series of Poker Asia Pacific right now over in Melbourne with the Main Event and High Roller being the last two chances for a WSOP bracelet in 2014, but we still have the chance to see how the final table of the most prestigious of all WSOP events was reached a little while back.

That event is of course the World Series of Poker Main Event that drew in 6,683 players which developed the biggest ever first place payout of $10,000,000. We are yet to find out the recipient of that payout as the final table will not be getting played until next month in November.

However, to keep anticipation levels for that event high, ESPN has been airing the coverage for the Main Event, allowing us to see how that final table was actually established. We know the names on that final table but do not yet know how they got there, unless you were there on the rail of course.

We have been sharing this coverage as and when it has been made available online, with the first two episodes found over here and the following two found over here. The two episodes today are that of 5 & 6 and show how the action went down on the second part of Day 5.

Griffin Benger, Mat Waxman, Martin Jacobson and Maria Ho were among the 139 players still left in the event at the start of episode 6, with the top chip counts in the tournament at that point listed below.
