WSOP Event #53 Day 1 – Juen First To Lead

wsop chipsBracelets were being handed out aplenty but many players were more interested in entering the $1.5k No-Limit Hold’em in an attempt to secure their very own. In fact there were 2,816 that initially sat at the felt but just 320 of them were still there by the time Day 1 had come to an end.

Alban Juen will be the happiest of those survivors after finishing up with the chip lead, but with the field still large and many accomplished poker players in the chasing pack behind him, he still has a long way to go.

The Current Top Ten!

Alban Juen – 168,300

Arden Cho – 124,800

Chance Kornuth  - 120,300

Tonio Rodev – 112,700

David Vamplew – 98,800

Than Lam – 95,600

Joe Tushnet – 84,800
